Hi this is the second time the oven has done this. It will get hot, I put something in to bake and go to check on it 30 minutes later and the oven is cooled. The temperature reading still says 350, the heat functions is on and the bake function is on but the burner is not burning and the oven is not hot. A year ago I had a repair man come out and he replaced the control panel and the thermostat, it worked for awhile but is now doing the same thing. After reading some forums here I took the oven bottom and heat dispencing shield out and turned the oven to bake to ensure the burner was lighting. It lit, the over worked fine, Had it on bake for several hours, I ever ran it through the self clean cycle and this worked fine. So I put it all back together and tried to run it on bake for awhile this morning, after an hour,it is cool again, control panel looks like everything is working, but it is not, please help! The control panel and thermostat cost me about $300 last year and they did not fix the problem.

Did you ever figure this out? I currently am experiencing the same thing with a different whirlpool model.
