After quite a few years of service from this fine dishwasher, decided this morning that it did not want to have any control panel lights. Pulled inside cover off to start checking for proper power on circuits. Found power at switch and while closing switch power coming through switch. Power at 4Pin Connector on Control Board but no functions on board. Was reading and saw that some models had a fuse on control board, but my diagram does not show one nor does it appear to have one. Thinking most likely problem is a bad control board but want to check with the pros to confirm and make sure I have not skipped a step :) Thanks for any input.

Here are your parts Replacement parts for KENMORE 66515835793 | AppliancePartsPros.comWas reading and saw that some models had a fuse on control board, but my diagram does not show one nor does it appear to have one. When I did a search by keyword on your parts a fuse did come up (see below) so you may want to re-check for it. It may be plugged onto the board. To double check this I went to the Sears parts site and they also show a fuse. Part number: AP3115186
If it ends up that there is a fuse be sure to use the new harness that comes with the replacement. |
