I turn dial to minutes, then hit the on button and the dryer makes a lou humming noise and that's it. I need all the help you can give as basic as possible. thanks

If the drum will turn freely by hand, you have a bad motor.

i Had The Same Problem With My Roper Dryer, I Replaced The Motor. No More Problem.
