back in march of 08 i had to replace the water valve in the back of my refrigerator because it was dumping all the water from the door into the floor. So I ordered a water valve from you guys and installed it all was fine untill last week when this valve for lack of a better word, decided to fill my freezer up with water,i;m not really sure that the valve was the problem it could have been the ice maker itself, thats why i'm writing this email to get your opinion on what is going on.the model#gss20lema ww is the refrigerator and ice maker model#can 13 any feedback would be helpful if not i'll try to trouble shoot it my self

Just to be clear the water from the valve runs to long on its fill cycle and runs all into the ice pan and down into the freezer itself making a very large mess.

Hi Joel,

There is suppose to be the green LED on the ice maker. Does it blink or it stays "on"?

If it does blink then the ice maker is bad.

If it stays "on" then the problem most likely is a bad water valve.

Gene.
