Hi, I have an Amana fridge w/bottom freezer Model # BBI20TE with a 3 year old icemaker. I woke up this morning to find the water to the ice maker ran all night and flooded the kitchen. It would not stop until I shut off the water supply.
Does the refridgerator control the waterflow or the icemaker?
I'm unsure whether to replace the water control valve in the fridge or the icemker or if it's something else?
Please help

Thank you,
Todd

Most likely the problem is a water inlet valve stuck open. The model number you posted does not come up.

Hi I have an Amana TSI22TE with ice maker. Water has recently started pouring out on each side of the ice stripper. Seems to only happen some of the time and do fine the rest. Although it doesn't always make full ice cubes. Can you tell me how to troubleshoot to find out what the problem might be?

Thanks

Kim

Your water inlet valve is sticking some of the time. Replace it.
