Got the new control panel installed and made sure all connections were tight...still nothing. No lights. My multimeter says i'm getting 116 volts to the control board. So i'm thinking it's got to be something down from there. There are two sets of wires (4 total) inside the latch that, when tested, are showing a voltage of 4. Could that be the issue? Or is that normal?b

How did you test the voltage to the control board? The part number for the control board is AP3775998 but I would not rush with it. Gene.

Two wires plug into the control board on one end, and a ribbon tape plug on the other (i believe there are three other "plugs" which had several wires going into each, but I don't think they were a problem). I used a multi-meter to test the two leads into the board. They showed 116 volts which is good. Couldn't test the ribbon tape, but i followed the wires to the switches inside the handle. There are two switches with two wires going into each...testing those wires did not return any voltage (even when the switch was tripped). That made me think juice was being pushed to the control board, but nothing was coming out of the board. I ordered a new one yesterday so we'll see what happens. Can I return the control panel if this works?

According to the wiring diagram, power to the control board coming as following: neutral (white wire) to the pin "P7", and hot through the thermal fuse (black wire with white strip) to the pin "P2-6" and through the thermal fuse and the door switch (tan wire) to the pin "P8". All tests should be done with the wires disconnected from the control board. There should be about 120VAC between "P7" & "P2-6" at any door switch position and about 120VAC between "P7" & "P8" when the door switch is "closed". The door switches have to be tested for continuity with at least one of wires removed from each switch. It is very important to make sure that the black wire is hot (120VAC between this wire and ground). So far, according to your report, I can not say 100% that the control board is bad. Gene. P.S. Your questions regarding parts return should be addressed to the customer service (877-477-7278).
