hi i need some help in why the icemaker on my kenmore fridge decided to quit making ice?

I once had a problem like this....I replaced the valve where the water line hooks up, but it still didn't work. Someone told me to unplug t frig and let it warm up.....it worked.....the water line must have frozen. turn your temp guage to warmer and wait a few days
