Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/8/2011(UTC) Posts: 1		:confused: My Roper washer is only 1 1/2 years old and just started making a loud humming noise when it agitates and spins. It sounds like an old VCR rewinding a tape!!! Please help!! Is it the motor?? Thanks!

Remove the pump and drain hoses from the pump. Check for a foreign objects inside the pump and/or hoses. Remove the motor and check the motor coupling. Post the results.
