I am getting brown lines on my clothing (just one or two on each garment). It appears that something dark is caught under the opaque tumblers inside the dryer tub. Can these tumblers be taken off so that I can remove what is caught in there?

Yes, it is real easy. Unplug the dryer, and pull out the lint screen, and there will be 2 phillip head screws. Take them out. Now we need to get the top up. If you slide a putty knife under the top, on the right side, about 3 inches from the end, you will hit a clip to release the top, Do the same on the other side, and push the top back, and rest it on the back wall. You will then see the top of the drum, and you can turn the drum, and take the screws loose to remove anyone of the baffles. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
