maytag washer model MAG6500AWW this is a neptune washer. It will wash (agitate) and go through cycles but when it is supposed to spin out the pump will run but it will not spin out

I assume your model number is MAH6500, not MAG6500

Maytag has put a new program in the CCU to deal with a spin problem, and has redesigned the motor/motor control unit to deal with a spin probelm.

Call APP and give them your model number and serial number and they should be able to suggest which part you may need. You may end up having to try both replacements.
