There is a leak around the "seal-pump housing" where the solenoid shaft goes into the pump. I purchased part # AP 2038837 - seal and the push-on nut. The instructions with the seal show a "lip seal" side and a "flat side" for the seal. Which side of the seal goes in first and which side of the nut goes on first?

One side of the seal has a little inner grove and the other side does not.
