Washer stopped working in the rinse cycle, I opened door (it is top loader)to make sure the blanket I'm washing didn't get wrapped around agitator and it was not. I tried the rinse cycle in the cycles and still nothing. I have the switch off and its been off for maybe 10 minutes or a little longer. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm not a mechanical genius but I'm not mechanically dumb either. :p

Well tear it down and check out the pump to see if anyting is caught in it and check the coupling. On the way in test the lid switch for continuity.
