I have no water getting to ice maker. The rest of the ice maker system appears to be working. The red light blinks until I actuate the left side switch and then the red light is on steady. The ice maker rotates around like it would produce ice if it had water. If I put ice in the bin it dispenses fine.
The drinking water also dispenses fine through the door.
So far I have had the ice maker out and cleared a small ice jam where the water enters the ice maker. I also used the drinking water solenoid harness on the ice maker line solenoid to verify that it was working. It did send water to the ice maker. It looks like whatever tells the ice maker water line solenoid to actuate is not working.
Your help is appreciated.

Had to take out ice maker today...
I manually put in water but the apparently at the wrong time in the cycle, so the sweeper fingers froze in the water and locked it up.
I won't worry about making ice until I find a resolution to this.
It seems like whatever turns on the IM water solennoid isn't working.
Feel free to chime in.

Thanks,
Joe

Go to this site for a good test proceeedure - www.applianceaid.com/icemaker. I just used it and I believe you are experiencing power problems like me. I just posted. I think mine could be a control board--?? Whever your unit gets its power is the problem.

Carl, thanks for the info. I am not getting line voltage at test points L & N. I do have line voltage at the connector to the IM. I also couldn't get the motor to run by shorting T & H, but it does run on its own when I leave it connected in the freezer. The instructions say to replace the module assembly.

Still troubleshooting and still taking advice...

Thanks again,
Joe
