My dryer dried a load and then suddenly starting making a noise when i filled it again turned it on after 40 mins which is ample time for my clothes to dry they were not dry.. heated and tumbling but no air from the outside vent . no apparent clogs from the outside . other than checking for kinks on the inside hose my concern is the noise almost like bearings going out but the not the complete grinding metal to metal sound ..any suggestions or am i looking at the blower motor on its way out ? is it in any way connected to the drum or could there be another something to check?

Sounds like the problem is a bad blower wheel. Very likely the center hole in the blower wheel got worn out and it's slipping around the motor shaft.

Thank You so so much for your input..you nailed it! We ordered the blower wheel and repaired it within 3 days ..I love the smell of freshly hung clothes but stiff towels and six kids in the house took all the fun out of it. :)

You are welcome. I'm glad it's up and running.
