This washer has never had issues. I bought it in 1996 new and it never has had a problem until now. It will go thru all of the cycles until it gets to the spin cycle. After the rinse cyle it stops and will not spin and release the water. It does not make any noises, it just stops and will not spin or drain. It does this in both the regular and permanent press modes. It does this on all water temps and water level choices. After pushing in and out several times on the handle it finally went into the spin cycle but I could not duplicate this again. I am curious if this is a relay switch issue or something else? Serial number 11454900QS Model LAT8016AAE. Thanks for your help! Ben

If it goes through the agitate, drain, spin on the wash cycle then there is nothing mechanically wrong with the washer and this suggests the timeris the cause of your problem.
Check, clean and reseat the wire connections on the timer, and if that does not fix things, try replacing it.
