I have a washer machine that everything works except no water will come when it is suppose to fill . I have cleaned the filters on the inlets. I took the "valve" that the hoses hook up to and took it apart. There are wires attached to the valve that open and close the water lines. I get a 12v reading on the wires when I turn the washer timer to any setting that requires water. So my question is, is the timer malfunctioning or do I need to replace the "valve" ? If you have any other ideas on why the water isn't being allowed to fill the washer I would appreciate it.
