I have a Tappen gas dryer, I start it, the igniter comes on, then the gas kicks on and it lites up fine, it runs great for about 10 min. and then the flame goes out (I assume its a normal cycling as the heat reaches a certain temp) but then after a minute or so the igniter comes on again but the gas valve doesnt trigger, the igniter then cycles off and then comes on again after a bit, but again the gas valve doesnt open. If I shut it off and try it after an hour or so it will trigger correctly and the gas comes on and lites properly, would this be a faulty flame sensor part no. Q600651 that is located about 4-6'' up the tube or is it something else?
Thank you.

Hi Krsolo

The problem with your dryer is a bad coils on the gas valve. Replacing them will solve the problem.
