Just replaced the rear drum rollers on my dryer. It was making the usual loud squealing noise. This fixed the noise, however, the rubber on the rollers looked as if they had been too hot. Following the replacement of the rollers the dryer seems to be running hot. How hot is too hot and if it is too hot which parts need replaced?

The rollers probably went out because the vent to the outside could be blocked or partially blocked. The air should be coming outside as hard as it does out of the dryer if the vent hose was off. The vent temp should not be hotter then 155 degrees. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
