Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 1/4/2009(UTC) Posts: 6		Just trying to figure out part to replace next. Refrigerator damper control or frzr temp control. Maybe other? Unit started clicking cycle and would never cycle off. I immediately thought the worst, compressor, but didn’t want to overreact. I replaced the overload and relay, but no change. It seemed to run cold so long until something overheated and emergency shut off, then compressor would not blow cold again until I powered down for at least an hour sometimes longer. I noticed the temperature control in freezer would not cycle off the unit as I turned warmer until I got all the way to OFF. Once the unit cooled down I could plug in and it would cool all the way down to -15 in freezer, so I started pulling plug to manually cycle off and on. This has worked for maybe 10 days now. Plug in to -10, pull plug, let freezer creep to 25 then plug in and down to -10, unplug, no problem if you have no life. I’m thinking it is the temp control in freezer that needs replacement. I'm happy to oder from your site, but which part? THANKS!

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 1/4/2009(UTC) Posts: 6		Seems the (1) freezer temperature control has thermostat as well as the (2) damper control in fridge. ALso there is a thermostat on (3) defrost timer, right, then there is a (4) thermostat kit THAT I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE IT GOES?
