hey all,
I bought this oven second hand. Lovely appliance, 30" slide in range, gas cooktop, with an electric convection oven.
The nunbers inside the door are: MOD 05 393H0 351 C970-445441 then the serial number is under that.
All was fine, until a few days ago my broiler went up to heat then seemed to quit. The next day it worked fine. I put it on self clean yesterday, and that worked fine, but then last night, I set the oven temp to 400, it made it up to 400, then quit. This morning, i set it to 350, it made it up to temp, then quit again.
I'm not getting any error codes, the panel appears to be working fine.
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks :)

After posting my problem on a few message boards and getting not even one reply, I called a repairman.
Turns out there is a relay in the main board that is fried. Problem is, you can't just replace the relay, you have to replace the whole board...
so, two options, buy a new board at $450CAN, plus labour, or remove the board and send to Ontario for a rebuild, at around $100, plus shipping and labour and oh, 4 to 6 weeks wait.
My repairman called Sears to check on availability of a new board, and they just so happened to have a rebuilt board in stock, for $140. He said that was very lucky.
I guess it's my lucky day. This unit would cost over 2k to replace new.
