Thanks all. We've had the same problem. The first repairman didn't know what he was doing. Turned off the circuit, turned it back on, said he had fixed it. No. The second guy came a few months later (we don't cook every night any longer since kids are grown), and told me on the phone it was a "gasket." Not sure what that means. It definitely is something overheating. I will check on that Display top, whatever that is. And also try the 100 degree idea. I should have Googled this first.
