Dishwasher is Bosch SMU2042, about 15 yrs old. Symptoms are (1) when DW is OFF water drips in until bottom overflows onto floor (2) when DW is ON there is no water flowing into wash or rinse cycles. Seems like water inlet valve, BUT (1) continuity across solenoid checks out OK (2) when valve is disassembled, the rubber diaphrams, springs, etc. look healthy. Can it still be the valve???

Hello Schoeman. It sounds like the valve is you problem. See if your getting voltage to the valve when the unit is calling for water. Hope this helps.
