My 11 yr old Kenmore Dryer will not stop buzzing when I shut the door. Is my door switch bad or is it another problem?

If it is my door switch, how do I open the top of my Kenmore Electric Dryer
model 11060612990 to repair it?

Thank You.....Jim:confused:

May need a new door switch..to open the top on most dryer's...there are clips above the door mounted in the top panel in each corner..(right at the seam where the front and top panels meet on the dryer) just use something flat to push the clips and lift the top(one corner at a time).
Note :unplug the dryer

Thanks for the advice M Celli.
If not the door switch what other dryer part would need to be replaced to
stop the buzzing noise when the dryer door is closed?
