Hello, My dishwasher is leaking from the bottom of the door, it appears there is some type of plastic piece that attaches to the door from the inside and wraps to the bottom. This piece is broken and I am sure the root of the problem. I have been unable to distinguish the part from the diagram that is available and hoping someone can tell me what the part name or number is.

Thank you for your time!

Best Regards,
Marianna

First, quickest, easiest and cheapest (free) step is to check that the screws are tight on the pump housing. Remove lower spray arm assy and check the screws around the perimeter of the pump housing.

If housing is loose, water will spray toward the splash deflector at the front of the machine, causing water to flood over the edge of the tub. This happened to me. I was checking gaskets, taking apart the door, etc. A tip on a fixi site directed me to the pump housing. When I saw it it was clear that the screws were loose. I removed them, reset the gasket, replaced the screws -- leaking stopped immediately!
