GE Microwave is built into the cabinet. It has the proper clearance and the OEM add-on kit to be installed in the cabinet. THe unit periodically stops heating and the timer will stop and restart during a cook cycle. I think it may be the Magnetron Thermo. I've seen GEs with BAD cavity Thermos that open up prematurely which causes all cooking/timer functionality to stop until it cools back closed. this one is new to me. There seems to be an excessive amount of condensation inside the oven hours after heating a frozen dinner etc.. the fan runs and is intact and the air-flow doesn't seem to be blocked.
???? confuses me. I haven't had a chance to lay eyes on the cisuit board yet.

Yes! when the timer stops counting it will restart on it's own. It does not spontaneously start when nobodys around or anything.

Most likely the problem is a bad control board but there is a small chance for a suck key on the touch pad too.
The model number you posted does not come up. The closest I found is JE2160WF02.
Gene.
