GE Model #GSD6660G02SS Dishwaser will not fill with water, I get noise like it wants to fill, but no water. Unk. what part to order, checked if water is running to unit & it checked good...........What next??????

Here is a parts breakdown for a G00SS, should be close to yours.
Model Search

Not sure what noise you are hearing. Normally the only noise you get from the unit actually filling is the water entering the unit.

First I would check the overfill float switch. It may be stuck, make sure the switch is activated. This switch tells the unit that it is already over full with water so it will not add any more. Best to use a meter and check that the contacts are closed.

Next check the water valve.
Is it getting power?
If yes then either the valve is shot or the filter screen on the inlet side of the valve is clogged up.

Remove the valve and check the screen. If it is clean the valve is shot.

If clogged up clean it. Do not run without the screen in place, it is there to keep crud out of the valve. If crud gets into the valve it could hold the valve open and cause a flood.
