I have a Kitchen Aid wine cooler (KUWA244PSS00) that has been working perfectly for 1-2 years. All the sudden it decided to quit cooling. According to the online blogs it most likely is a thermostat problem. According to the Kitchen Aid parts list the thermostat part number is 4344690 and it is made by Whirlpool (p/n AP3837669).

Does any one know how to install the thermostsat (and most importantly the remote coiled tube) without removing the unit - it is built in and really a pain to remove.

Thanks
