Freezer has frost/ice on back wall, items are thawing. Fridge is warm in spots now as well. When we had this same trouble two years ago we replaced the DEFROST HEATER KIT and everything was fine. The model number doesn't match up completely, but I seem to remember this same issue last time as well. There is an "A" before the "WW" on our fridge and the closest I can find has an "H" before the "WW."

Ordering a new DEFROST HEATER KIT now and saving our pennies to replace this fridge.

Anything else we should look at that could be causing this problem AGAIN? Also, after that first repair the ice maker stopped working. Could this be related?

In the meantime we're thawing the freezer and vacuuming the backside of the fridge to ensure good air circulation. Anything other suggestions?

Thanks!

Go to the stick above GE refrigerator..... and go to page one. Do the power connector jumper test to identify which parts are bad.
