What I have is an older gaffers/Sattlers stove/oven. All of a sudden it quit heating. The pilot lite is working so I thought the thermostat was at fault. Replaced the theromastat and I am at the same cross roads. Does the thermocouple have a dual purpose, I thought they were to keep the pilot lite lit. Any ideas or places to look would greatly appreciated.
The model and serial are no longer there
It uses Thermostat 7404p066-60 or (993-453) Its 11 years old..

I have a double oven and the bottom oven turns on and heats up fine but the top oven does not work at all. The light by the switch does not come on and the oven does not heat up either. Could it be that the switch for the top oven is bad ?
