Ice maker has low production and ice seems to be soft most of the time. I notice that ice melts in the bin and refreezes sometimes. I am not sure if it is a control problem or temperature sensor problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am going to order the board and fan and replace them. I all ready replaced the thermistors.

Good luck. Lets hope someone gets back to us.

I was wondering if you tried that last suggestion on your post and if it helped your situation. I have not heard any responses to my post and am just buying ice for now since food in freezer is ok.

Got board and fan installed Saturday. Lets give it 3 or four days before we say it worked. If I unplugged the fridge before repair it would run for a few days before it would melt all the ice. I will let you know.

Well, it looks as if the board and fan took care of the problem. I am looking at the temps on the coils, ice area and thermistor. There was one time the coils were at 44*, ice area 22* and thermistor at 6*. This must have been a defrost cycle. I will keep updated if any thing changes. Good luck , Brad
