The cause of that humming noise, coming from the motor, can be: a foreign object stuck inside the pump, a bad transmission or a bad motor. Remove the washer cabinet, the pump and the motor. The instructions are attached to the reply. Place the motor with it harness plugged into the motor in a save position and turn the washer on. If the motor still does not work and makes that humming noise, replace the motor. If the motor is fine, turn the transmission shaft manually in both directions to see how freely it's moving. Remove all water from the washer. Disconnect the hoses from the pump and inspect it for a foreign objects inside. - The motor Part number: AP3081301
