My ice maker has quit making ice because the water continuously runs over the freezing plate so it does not freeze. Any ideas as to why the water will not shut off and where I need to look?

It's a Kenmore Coldspot model 6.89482996. Thanks for any help. This was the model number on the inside wall of the ice bin compartment.

If the Clean light is not flashing then the problem most likely is a bad control board.
