We've had our GE Profile 4 burner gas stove top for over ten years and have had great service, until recently when the large R/F burner stopped auto igniting.

After some clean up and testing with an ohmmeter, I've discovered that one of the electric starter switches (the one on the R/F burner gas knob) has failed. I've got the new switch but am wondering how to remove the glass stove top so I can get to the gas valve bar to replace the ignitor switch.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
