Hi,

I recently purchased a new baking element from you guys, then foolishly blew something (smoke, etc.) when the stupid non-existant insulation allowed the contact to touch ground. Hats off to Amana. Hats off to me. that said...
Now, the bake and broil don't work (the broil did before the short), but the oven light, burners and control panel still do. the plastic connectors for the bottom element connectors (and possibly the top) are burned. the bottom positive (where the short was) was fused to the body, but we broke it off without any problem. Please give us suggestions on what to replace or repair and part numbers so we can fix it?

Here are your parts, includes the wiring diagram.
Replacement parts for AMANA AER4311AAW RANGE- F/S STD ELE | AppliancePartsPros.com

Since the stove top elements work OK you can assume that the power to the unit is OK.

The bad news is that the control board is probably toast.

I would check all wires to and from the control board just in case one or more of them has burned out.
