PLEASE HELP ME! My kenmore both fridge and freezer not cool. The motor runs and air blows but not cold/room air. Threw out all food both freezer and fridge. (I noticed the microwave next to it was reset)

There is no frost. The freezer food thrown out. All room temperature.
Not sure if condenser fan bad. Dont hear hum at all.

Pull the back and check the compressor, is it warm or cold.

Compressor is hot to touch, clicks on and off.
I pulled off the relay with the capacitor attached. Relay fried! NOt sure if capacitor ok though.

I cant figure the part. Apparently the parts have changed.
I was told to use 4387835. But it does not look like this. The capacitor piggybacks on the relay. HELP!

Checked the Sears site, it subs that original part to 8201786, on this site AP3885081, comes with instructions. The run capacitor, which rarely fails, should plug right in to the white start device.
The other kit has a discrete ptc device which rarely blows out, but you would need a meter to properly install it.
If you use the other one, install a 1000joule surge protector to prevent blowout.
