ordered a new water level switch but the new switch has no terminals for the purple wires wires 13 33 and some other wire...i need installation instrructions...the old switch has a place for nine wires, but the new one only 5

I do not know if this will help as the info I could find is limited. Here are your parts Replacement parts for MAYTAG LSE7806ACE STACKED LAUNDRY- ELE | AppliancePartsPros.comIf you look at the switch Item 6 in Section 2 is does list a wire jumper perhaps you also need this though I could not confirm it. If you click on the switch's picture it does show the back of it with 9 connectors so I am assuming Maytag has changed the design without updating the information. I did cross reference the Maytag number back to the AplliancePartsPros number and it does come back that AP4009574 is the correct switch for this unit. I did find the following on theses switches but it seems to address a different problem, see the attachment. Perhaps if you check out wiring diagrams in Sections 16 and 17 you can figure out how to wire it in. These diagrams do show the different wiring set ups. Hopefully someone else will jump in with better info for you!! |
