We had our Maytag LAT washer for close to 10 years. Water now began leaking out from the bottom center of the drum and also doesn’t agitate. Would you recommend fixing it for $500 or paying $1300 for either a new GE or Maytag Atlantis (overseas prices)? Thanks!

I would not repair the LAT, and I would definetly not buy an Atlantis, it is garbage. I would buy a Whirlpool Duet, or a Fisher & Paykel. Tom

Thanks alot, Kayakcrzy, for your advise.
How about buying a LAT, new, 3 years old still in the box?
