While filling, water flow seems slow and could hear noise similar to a hum or buzz. Replaced water inlet solenoid valve (AP4023852) from this site but didn't seem to notice much improvement. Now at times no flow. All hoses are clean with full flow. Tapped water valve and got flow for a while then back to no flow. Problem on initial fill, rinse 1 and rinse 2 for all cycles. Did I get a bad valve or is there another reason for the problem?

Make sure that the water temp select switch is pressed down on only one button. Make sure it is completely pressed down and locked in place. If this doesn't help, check for loose wires going from the timer to the switch and from the switch to the valve. Hope this helps.

Already tried water temp select switch on all settings. Also checked for loose wires on valve but will check timer. Do you know where I can download a wiring diagram?

There should be one behind the control panel.

Ok. Checked all wiring at the valve and control panel. All connections are tight and wired correctly. Did a test wash last night with hot wash/warm rinse. During fill, flow seemed normal except for hum or buzz which occasionally stopped. Tried a second load with warm wash/cool rinse. During fill, cold feed abruptly stopped resulting in hot water only. Stopped cycle and when restarted, cold feed stopped again. I cycled through temperature select buttons (fully pressed in) with same results. Replaced water inlet solenoid valve (AP4023852) ~1 month ago from this site but didn't seem to notice much improvement. Did I get a bad valve or is there another reason for the problem?

There is a possibility you have received a bad valve. You can call and order another one and hold onto the defective one in case they want it back. All of our parts have a one year warranty. Hope this helps.

Thanks Jeff! APP was very cooperative and is sending out a new valve. I hope this solves the problem. I wouldn't have expected that the new valve would be defective, but I guess it happens sometime. I'll follow up after I install the new valve.
