No heat-Timer moves on high setting, but not on Perm press setting.

Cannot find a wiring diagram for this unit so the below is just general info.

On most units the timed dry and auto use different circuits to power the timer.

Timed Dry gets its power from one side of the line.
Perm Press gets power through the heating element when it is turned off by the thermostat.

My guess would be that your heating element is open.

Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me how to access the element? It doesn't look (or cost!) the same as others I've seen here. The part # is AP2106978.Thanks.
