My Kitchen Aid dishwasher runs in the wash cycle for a very long time before moving into the dry cycle. I have tried to heat the water in the sink just before starting but this hasnt made a difference. I am assuming this is a thermostat issue. Can you confirm that is the problem or suggest another source for this issue? Please state the needed part and corrrect part number for this model in your reponse if possible as I do not want to go fishing here; would rather order the correct part and be done with it.
Thanks for your help

Sorry but I cannot confirm anything as it would just be a guess.
You have to do more trouble shooting.
I do not know if you consider troubleshooting is fishing.

Remove power from the unit and check the hi-limit thermostat with a meter, should be 0 ohms.
Check the heating element should ne around 20 ohms.

Here is a manual which may help.
