I have a Thermador Model PSC364GDZS/01 36" with griddle in the center. When you turn the griddle on it will light and heat until it reaches the selected temp. At that point it shuts off but will not relight. You can turn the selector off and back on to the selected temp. and it will relight. Again when it reaches selected temp. it shuts off and will not relight.

A call to Thermador is a wasted call. You help appreciated.

Thank You

I am also having this issue with a Thermador PD486GDBS/01
In my case I just get ignition and then it will shut off after the initial timeout (10 seconds or so.)
I have already replaced the thermostat thinking it was a feedback issue, but no luck. I guess its the controller but would love a confirmation by someone with experience rather than just wasting $130 a test. Anyone?

Your problem is very much like the one I was having. Mine would reach selected temp but would not relight. I replaced the controller and the problem was fixed. The contoller is very simple to change. It is under the pan below the right side burners.

Good Morning Mike,

I do not recall the part no. of the controller I used. I purchased it from AppliancePartsPro.com. Maybe they can look up my account and help you. I checked in my recent order history and nothing showed up. It has been a few months.

Good Luck
Gary
