the dryer was working the cycle ended, put in another load and it wouldn't start. I checked the thermal fuse, door switch, and the start switch all showed continuity.

Make sure you got L1-120v L2-120v and between both 240v if you have that also check the high limits and t-stats. If that works it could be a broken belt switch if your dryer has one.

I checked everything and it was the timer, took the timer a part and the keeper on the pink plaxtic disk on the control knob was broke. So I put some gorilla glue on it and put the timer back together set the timer to a dry cycle push start and now it works.
