Dryer barely heats up, I need to run a load 3 times before is dry. I would like to check the parts with the Ohm reader as I read on other posts here, my question is, how do I open up the dryer? Help will be appreciated!

Monica,

Here's a parts breakdown of your machine. Model LNC8764A71

It looks like on your model you need to release the clips on the back near the top and release the lock clips between the top and front panels. Remove the top then the front panel. Watch out for any connected wires.

I'm not familiar with your model and I hope I'm looking at the diagram correctly in accessing it.

Monica, I am very familiar with your dryer. There are 2 things that could be wrong. The vent could be clogged to the outside, or the blower housing is clogged inside the dryer, or if they are fine, it could be the coils on the gas valve.
