I noticed a similar question to posed to you by mc1253 (Mike) on 10-20-2008 that when unanswered. Does this mean you have no answer? It seems that the agitator cap is glued down so access is not possible without breaking the cap and I am sure it is also impossible to get a new cap without ordering the entire agitator assembly. Right?

If you can remove the cap without disturbing the agitator you can buy and replace the cap. Click on your model number and you will find exploded views of your machine to see the parts.
