I have a Maytag washer SAV4710AWW (Series 10) and notice that the water slowly leaks from the base of the tub above and onto what may be the transmission.

Is the correct Part Number: AP4260930 for a seal kit? Could you recommend bearing parts if needed also?

Thanks,
-Eric

That kit should have both the bearing and seal, however you will need sealant and you may need some special tools.

Maytag has a service bulletin on this repair, but unfortunately they no longer let us link to it. Call Maytag and see if you can get Tech Bulletin

TDL-0060-B

which will take you through the repair process in detail.
