My Maytag Atlantis went through the fill and wash/agitate portions of the cycle and suddenly decided not to drain and spin. It is currently full of rinse water.

First place to look is the lid switch.

That's it alright! It works when I manually push in on the lid switch. I believe that I can get operational if I connect (with jumper) two of the wires going to the switch. There is a white (labeled neutral), black (labeled line), yellow (labeled motor) and red (labeled machine). Any suggestions? Thanks very much!
