I have a Whirlpool microwave where some of the touchpads (not all) on the flat panel stopped working. I was able to find the correct replacement part.

Does anyone have instructions for removing the old panel so that I can replace it.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Rocky,

Remove the two screws on top of the microwave secured the top grill. Pull the grill out. Remove the screw on top of the control panel and remove the control panel.

Unplug the touch pad ribbon from the control board. Remove the screws holding the control board to the panel and remove the control board. Push out the tabs on the panel holding the mounting plate and remove the plate.

Assemble everything in the reversed order.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool microwave Model MH3184XPB3

Gene,
Thanks for the info. I'll give it my best shot.
