My brand new 30" Admiral cooktop was properly installed, then checked by the local Amerigas techincian who confirmed the correct installation. We were told that although the brochure says propane convertible, the orifices as they are don't close enough. We have a yellow flame. We need less air to get a better blue flame. Can we purchase different orifices? Or What else can we do?

Was the cooktop converted prior or during installation? A conversion kit should have been included when purchased. All gas ranges & cook tops come as natural gas and must be converted.
