This is a follow-up to a question posted here earlier. We own an obscure brand of oven (the front of the oven says it's a Roy brand Satellite I) purchased from an old roommate's uncle, so we don't have a manual and can't find it on google. We need to replace the bake element. According to the tiny writing on the element, it's 2500 watts and 250 volts. The hardware store near me sells elements that are 2500 watts and 240 volts. If I install an element that is the wrong voltage, will this be a big problem? Will I ruin my oven or never get the right temperature or something like that? Or is it no big deal? Please let me know! Thanks!
