A small piece of glass found its way to the food grater and hung it up. I found and removed the glass, but now the motor just hums when it should be pumping. Is the motor bad? And, if so, is it removable from the top? I haven't seen a good parts manual, showing an exploded view of the attachment of the screen and grater to the motor. Could there be an adapter between the blade and the motor shaft that is the problem?
